It was reportedly the first consulate established by the British government in Taiwan.

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday: 10:00–19:00 (ticket sales and admission close at 18:30)
Saturday, Sunday, and public holidays: 09:00–19:00 (ticket sales and admission close at 18:30)
**The Cultural Heritage Preservation Center is closed every Wednesday (open as usual if Wednesday is a public holiday). It will also be closed if the Kaohsiung government announces a school closure. -
Free guided tour service :
Red mailbox in front of the main gate on the hill: 10:00, 14:00, 16:00
Office at the foot of the hill (Back Garden Plaza): 11:00, 15:00, 17:00
**This service is available only on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays.
