Review Information
We've arrived in Kaoh Luang!
The photo above is taken at the entrance below Mount Kaoruang.
I just bought a drink at the supermarket ahead...
The owner went out and brought it back, telling me to eat it...
I bought it because my throat was so dry, took a sip, and set it down for a moment to take a photo...
The monkey snatched it away. ㅠㅠ
It's nice to see them enjoying their drinks, so I guess giving back is good after all.
- He even unscrewed the lid and drank it...
You can buy a ticket here.
15 baht, and please pick up/sand the shipwreck visible in the distance, whether it's on the mountain top or below.
It took about 5 minutes by car.
Originally, it's split evenly on both sides, but when I first got in the car, the driver took it.
When going up, there was no one to ride, so I went alone on the horse-drawn carriage. haha
Shimtaeu's condition isn't great, but he didn't come here just to ride a taxi.
We drove up to the mid-mountain area where the cave temple is accessible.
The reporter is waiting for you.
Actually, when going down, I don't take the same car I rode up in; I take whatever car is available. Hahaha.
It reads as a notice advising not to feed monkeys, not to carry drinks or bags, and to store them in bags.
Now, let us enter the Kaoruang Cave Temple.
To reach the cave temple, you must first ascend slightly.
There are monkey families here too. Hahaha
They didn't really pay attention to tourists or cause any trouble, but they quietly took a few photos and passed by. Haha.
There's a slight incline, so we had to climb a bit, but it wasn't difficult.
But...
The thought that came to me as I descended here was
I thought, "It'll be tough going up again." lol
It gives off a strong cave-like feeling.
You were cleaning the stairs.
The stairs weren't dirty, but there were fallen leaves scattered around, so it seemed like they cleaned them frequently.
After descending into the cave, small statues are erected at the entrance in this manner.
In the corner, repair work was being carried out little by little.
(touch-up feel)
We finally entered the cave.
It really gives me a cave-like feeling.
The area was darker than what's shown in the photo, so the focus wasn't quite right. ㅠㅠ
The Buddha statue was embedded in the rock, giving me the feeling of an excavation.
This is the highlight, but the photo is so blurry that it's really disappointing. ㅠㅠ
It's a truly wonderful place where light filters in from the cave ceiling.
There are also warning signs advising caution due to the possibility of falling rocks.
Ah! The group photo looks a bit cleaner now.
While the area where boulders tumble down isn't particularly dangerous, it's always better to be cautious.
There is also a statue of Wabul.
This is another place where the ceiling has been breached, creating a distinct sensation of something pouring down from above as if it were a deliberate opening.
It was impressive that the stones and soil were preserved exactly as they were, without being cleared away.
After touring the cave temple, we came down the mountain again by taking the funicular.
It wasn't the same driver from the songtaewo who took me up. Haha.
I noticed buses for group tourists coming down.
They were Chinese people, and the bus was spacious but not overcrowded. Hehe.
