There are many affordable massage shops in Chiang Mai.

In Bangkok, even budget-friendly massage shops start at 200 baht per hour for a foot massage.

The massage shop's condition is absolutely terrible. ㅠ

For 200 baht, it's certainly a shabby massage shop, but Chiang Mai's massage shops are cheaper than those in Bangkok.

You can also find affordable foot massages for 100 baht per hour.

However, if you find a proper massage shop with reasonable prices, it is likely Lira Massage.

The spa prices are also very reasonable. :) 

It is a large massage spa with only five massage shops in Chiang Mai. 

The location I visited was the Ratchadamnoen branch inside Tha Phae Gate.

 

 

Once you enter, there is a reception area where people make reservations. :)

If it's available, you can receive the massage immediately, though you may need to wait a little bit.

For spa programs, reservations are almost always required for usage. 

I received a back and shoulder massage.

Upon arriving, I found a Sunday market selling various foods and souvenirs.

Chiang Mai Sunday Market is truly a must-visit destination. :)

In the case of Night Market, prices have become quite high, whereas Sunday Market still offers affordable prices ^^

I happened to spot a Thai person selling bungeo-ppang and, finding it fascinating, took a photo. 



There are strawberry, chocolate, and cream flavors, among others,

I won a classic red bean-filled red bean bun! +_+

15 baht for two, roughly around 500 won. Hehe.

 

It's chewy and chewy. :)
