Review Information
This post will cover the Open Zoo of Kaoki Fox, which many people have been inquiring about recently.
It is also open, allowing visitors to meet the animals up close.
It is located in Chonburi, approximately 100 kilometers from Bangkok in the direction of Pattaya.
First, I traveled using my personal vehicle.
There is no separate public transportation available. Travelers without a car must travel via taxi, car rental, or tour.
It seems like there won't be any difficulties.
This is the entrance you see after purchasing your ticket and entering.
It's too much to walk to the Kaokiyu open area.
You will need to rent a 4-person cart or use the Ferris wheel. While you are allowed to bring your own vehicle,
Because I wanted to take my time and look around We rented one four-person cart.
The area shown below is where you can rent a cart.
It's 350 baht for two hours. You'll need to present your ID when renting. Just tell the staff at the front.
The red Big Cola cart will work hard for us today. We've won a unique and cute cart. Haha!
This is the entrance used when riding the cart. It feels a bit like entering through a side door.
The first thing we see upon entering is a herd of deer.
Usually, things sold at the entrance of such places are expensive, so...
I asked an employee outside if they sell food inside, and they said yes.
However, the animals weren't eating much because they were full, so I just bought a little bit and came in,
It seems better to feed them outside, as there are more and better options available.
And! As expected, with their bellies full, very few of them react even when I offer them food.
Everyone's so annoying -0-;; hahaha
The next animal I met after passing the deer was a hippopotamus.
Just open your mouth like that, and I'll toss the food in for you. Hahaha
The ones next to the hippo are called Binturongs, which belong to the family of civet cats. ^^
You can have your photo taken for a small tip.
Of course, you can also just take a photo from behind.
If you pass by Binto Lung, you can meet the elephants below.
Ah~ I thought it was a baby hippo, but it's actually a small species of hippopotamus.
I'm not sure, haha.
Whether the mouth opens big or small, it's all the same when begging for food.. haha
Once you leave the area where the hippos are, you'll find a wide space where various herbivores—such as ostriches and giraffes, which might look like zebras ^^;—are gathered together.
Giraffes with long necks stretch their necks out to reach and eat their food.
But it seems they were full and only ate what they liked.
Feeding is also a competition~ What should I eat? Isn't the fun of choosing and eating like this?
You can also feed them from a distance on the right side.
Cute meerkats are situated beside the giraffe.
Even when I looked at the camera~~~ but...
I was on the verge of it. Haha.
Sitting in groups, left and right... working hard~
The meerkat mainly ate insects, so there was no food left... ^^;
Is this a deer or an elk in our zoo, like a giraffe? I don't know ^^;; It's a cute friend with those lovely antlers.
They cannot eat food directly like a giraffe, so they go out to find fallen food.
It says "Madagascar." It's a place I really want to visit someday. ^^
It's obvious that something is waiting for us right from the entrance.
It's an ostrich egg. It's written all over the place: "Do not touch."
This is an ostrich egg too.
Those are the ostriches visible in the background.
But these guys even brought their own food, yet they show no interest in the food humans give them.
There is a feeding trough in the middle, and everyone rushes to it, eating only from there.
And there's a warning about it, as ostriches may play with cameras, hats, sunglasses, etc.
It says to be careful not to damage or take it!!
Is it because the weather is getting hotter that the bears are also huffing and puffing...?
It's a snake~~ Eeuu..
They seem to be sleeping because it's hot too...
It doesn't look very good, though. Haha.
Lions
There were only two of them visible. Right next to them is where the hyenas are,
No matter how much I call or search, I can't find where they've hidden. ㅠㅠ
If you go inside the area enclosed by the chain, you will find various kinds of birds.
In fact, we arrived around 3 PM and kept wandering around this way and that, and suddenly it was past 5.
I didn't see a single show.. ㅠㅡ Couldn't even see the kangaroo.. ㅠ.ㅡ
A monkey eating next to an elephant.. haha
You don't need to worry about the leftover food. There are pigs around at the end... they're gathered in a large group.
I gave you the remaining mangosteen, but you came close; however, you didn't get close enough to touch it.
Snort~
Night Safari Program
We made a big effort to get there because there was a waterfall, but it wasn't the large-scale waterfall we had imagined.
It feels like an artificial waterfall in the neighborhood... ^^;
With this waterfall, we have seen everything in Kaohki Fox World...
Actually, I couldn't see everything, but it's time to close the door ^^;
I think it's great that people who love animals can get to spend more time with them up close.
It's quite a stretch to visit Kaoki Fox on a one-day trip.
It would be great to make a half-day stop on your way up from Bangkok to Pattaya or on your way back down.
Well then, I'll wrap up this post.. ^^
