Near Krabi Ao Nang
There are truly many restaurants,
Most of them are seafood restaurants, Thai eateries, or Indian restaurants~
Like Bangkok or Pattaya
There aren't many Korean and Japanese restaurant brands.
It wasn't as easy as I had hoped to find unpretentious food!
Since I stayed near Aolang, I walked along Aolang Street and...
I happened to learn that there is a dinner buffet operated on the first floor in front of the lobby at Aonang Cliff Beach Resort, so I made plans with my group to visit the next day!
The last day in Krabi was all about indulging in whatever we wanted to eat :)
Fresh ingredients were placed near the entrance.
It's sure to catch the eye of passersby on Aolang Street!! Haha
Aorang Cliff Beach Resort appears immediately on Google Maps!
It is located right next to the Aolang McDonald's.
It's 459 baht per adult!
Enjoy unlimited servings of the menu prepared at Baite!
However, please note that alcoholic beverages, drinks, and water are not included in the fee, so there will be an additional charge for drinks!
Water was approximately 30 baht per bottle (500ml) (as of May 2016).
Please note that the fee may be subject to change by the hotel dinner buffet without prior notice :)
The scent of grilling shrimp, squid, and fish wafts through the air, hehe.
Seats are available both indoors and outdoors.
The indoor seats have strong air conditioning, but
The outdoor seating isn't like that ㅠㅠ It might feel a bit sticky on hot days, but
Fortunately, the breeze was gently blowing that day.
The sun was setting, so it wasn't quite as hot anymore.
And above all, I chose the outdoor seating because it offers a breathtaking view of Krabi's limestone cliffs from across the area. Haha.
They say there's also a cabaret show on the outdoor stage at 8:00 PM!
Of course, it's free lol
By the way, it was provided with a baby seat!
By 19:00, people began to gather in increasing numbers, and the seats filled up quickly.
Shall we take a look at the indoor seats?
This is the entrance to the indoor seating area.
In front of the indoor seating entrance, you can find Green Curry, Massaman Curry, Tom Yum Kung, rice, pasta, and ice cream.
Let's take a look around.
There were two flavors of ice cream: chocolate and lime.
At first, I thought it tasted like green tea, but it was actually a refreshing lime flavor lol
It's a Thai dish made with chicken, vegetables, and cashews.
It's pat mamuang ka. It also includes bell peppers.
The lack of a distinctive aroma in that Thai food makes it easy to eat.
Not only shrimp but also squid, fish meat, and other seafood are all included together,
It's called Tom Yum Talay :)
In Thai, "Talay" means seafood.
Even sweet masaman curry!
This is Massaman Curry with Chicken.
Kai means chicken in Thai. haha
It's labeled as "Vegetable Soup" in English, but
Tom Yum is one of the Thai dishes, a soup,
In Thai, it's called Tom Kha Gai. It contains mushrooms, carrots, and other ingredients.
It's somewhat similar to tteok-yam, but it's not very spicy.
Hmm, this chicken dish isn't anything special; it's just chicken and vegetables simply stir-fried.
Looking at it this way, there really were a lot of chicken dishes, lol.
It is called Green Curry in Thai!
Usually, we use a lot of chicken.
The crab cakes prepared at Ao Nang Cliff Beach Resort also feature Kaiyin chicken, as expected! haha
It's similar to dongga soup, but much spicier ^^
It has a delightful spicy flavor even though it's not red.
Many people who enjoy this scent come to visit!
It was truly a perfectly ordinary cream pasta dish,
Hmm, the cheesy flavor wasn't very prominent; it was truly just a cream pasta dish.
Personally, it didn't suit my taste ㅠㅠ The taste... well... there was none...
After viewing the pasta options, you'll find an entrance leading directly to the indoor seating area.
As soon as I entered the entrance
salad plates that allow you to select and arrange fresh vegetables
It really caught my eye haha
Each salad dish was thoughtfully covered with a lid.
Tuna salad seems to be a good combination with bell peppers and pepper,
The ingredients were all fresh, and I felt like I was getting healthier haha.
Decorate is also well-arranged using dragons.
Indoor tables are also prepared with desserts and fruits to enjoy after your meal, not just salads.
And there are also pre-meal breads :)
Between the two cakes, the chocolate bread is tastier!
That pink cake... had an unknown sweetness,
The chocolate cake was truly packed with so much chocolate flavor that it was even more delicious!
The indoor seating area is equipped with tables for 2, 4, and 6 people, respectively,
They were neatly displayed.
When I took the photo, there weren't many people around yet.
Fortunately, I was able to take a photo of the empty space!
By 7 PM, the seats were already filling up pretty quickly @_@
Now it's time to take a look at the menus prepared outdoors.
The outdoor menu is primarily divided into Pad Thai, Sushi and Sashimi, and BBQ.
Ha... hah
Seafood truly tastes best when grilled!
I was really happy that I could eat so many shrimp.
Of course, even though these weren't tiger prawns, the fact that you can eat a large quantity despite their small size is definitely a major advantage!
Squid has thick, substantial flesh, and I thought it would be tougher when grilled, but...
It was incredibly soft!
The scallops were served boiled, and there were also pork, potatoes, and corn barbecue, among other dishes.
We've also prepared BBQ sauce and seafood sauce next to the BBQ table.
In Korea, it is often eaten with gochujang, In Thailand, there's a spicy and tangy sauce made with lime and Thai chili peppers!
However, it truly tastes best when eaten with seafood—no fishy odor, and you'll enjoy it even more! :)
Be sure to give it a try!
You can ask the chef to grill a few of these skewers to your liking right here, and they'll grill them for you on the spot.
They don't leave it in a baked state.
It's a system that lets you eat right after baking!
The corn and seafood kept getting cleared off the plates, so the chef was busy grilling them. Haha.
There were some sushi options, but there were more rolls available.
Among the dishes I ate that day, the Pad Thai was the most delicious!
Make it right there and serve it directly onto the plate,
Even when wrapped in a thin egg, the warmth is maintained continuously.
The eggs are so thin they're even tender!!
Right next to the pad thai table is
It's one of the top-ranked dishes among Thai foods that Koreans love the most!
Pot-bung-ppoe-i-daeng-im-ni-da!
What made it truly delicious without being greasy was this green vegetable, buncheong, which was so fresh that they stir-fried it right there on the spot, just like pad thai.
Huh... that was really, really delicious lol
As time passes, cabaret show,
Lady boys from Pattaya, such as Tiffany Show and Alcazar Show, have arrived and begun their performance preparations!
All the dancers are also great at lip-syncing, and
She was tall and had a really slender, beautiful figure. Haha.
In the middle, even dancing with a Western lady
Everyone clapped, and the atmosphere was truly the best! Hahaha
In the middle, some Korean music also came on lol
And when I hear Korean music while away from home, it feels so welcoming -
Among the dishes I enjoyed on this day, the one I'd recommend is
Pad Thai, Pad Poon Poon Dang, shrimp and squid bibimbap with seafood sauce!
Second place goes to shrimp sushi, haha!
The other rolls have the same filling inside; they're just like nude gimbap, differing only in the sauces and toppings placed on top. So, since they lack variety, I found that somewhat disappointing.
I've eaten Pad Thai twice, haha.
And for dessert, the chocolate cake was the best!
Krabi may not offer as many attractions or as many renowned restaurants as Pattaya or Bangkok, but
For those who do not prefer Thai or Indian cuisine,
It's great that you can eat heartily! Plus, even though it's not authentic, it's further enhanced by a short cabaret show.
It seems to be one of the top spots in Aolang Street!
